![]() ![]() When you pause, you notice you have the option to save and quit. Try your best to guess within those parameters to where you need to aim. Each side of a square on the grid is 2 feet. Your caddy will tell you where to aim for the putt if it is humanly possible from where you are at. Tip#5- Listen to your caddy when you putt. So spin can be used to lengthen drives, make the ball dead stop as soon as it hits the green, and even help you with those chip ins. A true golfer knows just how much spin to put on the ball. So the novice may just make the ball spin in the direction he or she wants and that's it. You can add spin by dragging the stylo across the picture of the ball on the touch screen after you have made your shot, but keep in mind the more you drag, to more spin you put on the ball. When driving, you can make your drives longer by adding front spin. Spin, although may seem small, when used right can make all the difference. So if you are wanting to make a 100% shot when you are in 80% of rough, you will need to make a shot with 120% to make that same distance. This lie percent tells you how much more energy you are going to need. In the lower right and corner of the top screen, there is a percent right below where it says what kind of lie you are in. If you feel like being daring, go ahead and try to jump the gap, but my best tip is to just get as close to the edge of the fairway as possible before the gap because chances are the green will still be within range of that shot. Also the fairway may have a break in the middle with some bunkers. That way you ball doesn't just bounce off the green and into who-knows-where. But in situations like that, try to make it sink into the deep rough right next to the green. In that case, it might be possible to just skip most of the course and drive to the green in one shot. ![]() Also, the course might make a big U turn to get to the green. Then that little gust can do you right into the rough. Now, if it a 1 mph gust, don't mind it unless if you line of aim is right alone an edge of the fairway. Wind is a big factor for driving off that tee shot. Keep in mind that just driving towards the hole with as much force as possible is not always the best decision. This makes the ball go very high so you don't have to worry about accidentally hitting the top of the hill and having your ball roll back down. But better yet, if you are very near the green, but there is a great elevation difference, then go into your pocket caddy and switch your shot to a flop. So if you are hitting uphill, increase power, when hitting downhill, decrease power. The percentage of power shown to you on the touch screen is assuming the land is flat. These are my tips for those trying to get ahead fast in this game.
